Basilica to Host CIO Forum 2004
Basilica Software Corporation is
hosting CIO Forum 2004, a gathering of CIOs and IT Executives to
be held in Conference Room 280 of the BC Institute of
Technology, Downtown Vancouver Campus on Wednesday, May 26, 2004
beginning at 6 pm. This forum will address many of the issues
confronting IT managers today and present the result of
Basilica's research on IT costs and management. We will discuss
ways by which CIOs and IT managers can alter the perception of
their departments as the being traditionally unpopular and
expensive company Cost (overhead) Centre into a more realistic
"Corporate Value Centre". At this forum, Basilica will
officially introduce its flagship product, the CIOAdvisor, a
complete IT management solution that is designed to organize and
improve the efficiency of IT organizations.
The forum's agenda is as follows:
1. Introductions and housekeeping
2. "The Need to Identify and Allocate the True Costs of IT in
Your Organization"
- Tim O'Connell, former SVP and CIO
3. "The CIO of Tomorrow - the Coming Reality"
- Mark Masongsong, Director BSC
4. "Integrated Information - the CIO's weapon of choice"
- Manny Masongsong, Chairman and CEO, BSC
5. Open Forum
If you are a CIO or an IT Manager, we would like you to take
advantage of this great opportunity to network among your peers.
